Each rider will be supplied a Race Number Plate and Seat Post Sticker embedded with low frequency transponder chips, which need to stay attached to your bike for the duration of the event.

Chips are tested for integrity at the Stage 1 Start Line. Once your number plate and seat post sticker are fitted correctly, you can roll your bike over a timing mat to ensure your timing chip is working.

Keep track of your position throughout the event by visiting the Port to Port MTB 2018 Timing Page, or by punching your number into the timing computer at the “Timing Results” Tent located next to the Information Tent at the finish line of each stage.

Timing results will be uploaded to the Port to Port Timing Page within an hour of the last rider crossing the finish line, pending Wi-Fi connection.
