Transport Details


Shuttle bus transport will be arranged at the start of the day from the finish location of Dixon Park to the start location of Blacksmiths Beach. This transport is ideal for those who want to hang around for DROP IN NEWCASTLE: Eats, Beats & Bikes finish line festival.

While we can’t get your bikes on the bus we will have bike trailers heading back also be sure to reserve your spot at Information Services.

*Please be aware that you must load and secure your own bike. 


With a different location each day, the parking situation changes as we move through each stage. Check the details below for info on each day.

Stage 1 – Audrey Wilkinson Winery - 750 De Beyers Rd, Pokolbin NSW 2320

Free parking is available onsite. Follow the signage to the designated parking areas at the entrance of the Vineyard

Stage 2 - Sugar Valley Golf Course, West Wallsend

Parking to be confirmed. 

Stage 3 – Cooranbong Park, Freemans Drive Cooranbong

Parking will be available at the Local Church for a small donation. Please note cars are NOT PERMITTED to park on Freemans Drive

Stage 4 – Blacksmiths Beach, near Belmont Swansea SLSC

Free parking will be available at the park area, additional parking can be located along Ungala Road and side Streets. Please follow Parking Marshal directions.

Dixon Park, Merewether

Free Parking will be available at the top car park, enter via Ocean Street, Additional free parking is available at the car park located on John Parade. Due to road closures enter via Helen Street.
